Our Story

Advanced Cabinet Services is owned and operated by Barry Rentz and M.C. Barlow. Barry began woodworking in the Appling County High School Industrial Arts Program under the instruction of M.C., and began to design and construct cabinetry in 1981 in the High School DCT program. Following High School, he worked with a local cabinet company for 10 years. In 1991, he formed his own company, Advanced Cabinetry, specializing in custom cabinet design. His experience includes the design and manufacture of kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, office cabinets, entertainment centers, closets, and a variety of other custom crafted wood products. 

Overall, Barry and M.C. bring over 60 years of experience in cabinet and woodworking design to the table. Advanced Cabinet Services was formed to showcase the craftsmanship of Advanced Cabinetry to the world by showcasing some of our work in order to help you make the best decision for your cabinetry and wood product needs. Many of our creations are featured in our portfolio. These products are accompanied and enhanced by the knowledge, experience, and craftsmanship that Barry and M.C. put into every creation.  We are excited to assist you with the creation of your dream home or office, and we look forward to getting to know you.
